The Coffee Bean Villa is a perfect weekend gateway around 220 kms away from Bangalore. Set amidst dense coffee plantations and on the road from Sakleshpur to Chikmaglur, this place is around 12 kms from Sakleshpur and around 40 kms away from Chikmaglur. Run by Dhanush and his family, their hospitality is worth mentioning. There is plenty of space for playing outdoor sports as well as TT table, carrom board, badminton rackets, football etc. Great place to unwind where one can carry their own alcohol and make use of the common refrigerator and get finger food from the hosts. The place can get noisy by inebriated visitors on weekend but it is relatively calm otherwise. There are both tents to occupy or simple rooms with common area to occupy. The tents can get hot and uncomfortable during the day but they are protected by shade above to prevent rain. Food is homemade and a buffet spread for both veg and non veg options available. There is plenty of space for parking vehicles but a private vehicle is needed to reach the place. Overall an excellent place to spend a day in peace without phone network and wifi and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
